Tamarind Shrimp with Xihuitl Gourmet Sauce

Camarones al Tamarindo con Salsa Gourmet Xihuitl


  • Xihuitl Tamarind Sauce
  • 50 g butter
  • ½ onion
  • 1 kg shrimp
  • Salt, pepper and garlic to taste


  1. Preheat skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add butter until melted.
  3. Add onion and wait for it to soften.
  4. Add shrimp, season with pepper, garlic powder and salt, integrate everything.
  5. Once the shrimp turns pink, add the Gourmet Xihuitl Tamarindo Sauce to taste (approximately 1/2 bottle is recommended). Wait for all the liquid to evaporate and keep until the shrimp is crispy.
  6. Ready! To enjoy.
